In 1927, Jeanne Lanvin created the perfume Arpège dedicated to her daughter Marguerite: the story of a mothers' love for her child. This maternal love is represented by the perfume's emblem, unique in its kind: a woman and child, representing Jeanne Lanvin and her daughter, in an attitude full of loving tenderness. The composition of Arpège is a marvellous floral symphony in which more than 60 natural essences all play their harmonious part.
