Description: The perfume was inspired by a story of impossible love between Mitsouko, the wife of a Japanese admiral, and a British officer during the war between Russia and Japan (1905). Both men went to war, and Mitsouko had to wait until the bloodshed was over to know which of the two would be her lover and companion for the rest of her life. "Mitsouko" means "mystery" in Japanese!
