Description: Creed's homage to Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis, Love in Black is meant to evoke "the unique йlan" of Mrs Onassis: "her dark, mysterious eyes behind dark sunglasses, her wavelets of brunette hair, her trim shape in a black sheath." The ingredients used in the blend allegedly come from places loved by Jackie, and the perfume is being released on the 40th anniversary of her wedding to Aristotle Onassis. It is a scent that is classically proportioned, with the kind of spare elegance that the former First Lady favoured.
Top notes: Violet, Burgundy blackcurrant
Heart notes: Florentine iris, carnation, Burgundy rose
During the time of Napoleon, the drum was the means of communication between the general and his soldiers. There were several kinds or drumbeats including the \"chamade\", a very fast beat which was an order to retreat. Is there a heart than has never beaten wildly? Who can pretend never having their heart turn upside down, so appropriately symbolized by the upside down heart of the flacon? Chamade by Guerlain embodies self-surrender in the face of love.
Lolita Lempicka Forbidden Flower is dominated by seductive, pure and clear notes of absinthe flowers. The mysterious bouquet also brings strawberry leaf, mimosa, and flowers which add to the green, fresh and dynamic impression. The heart brings peony, anise seed, violet and fruity accords, while the base introduces sensual warm musk, touched by almond and Vistula cherry. The bottle as well is an object of desire, an ode to the spring, with its greenish nuances and textures reminiscent of nature and the forbidden garden. It is adorned with ivy leaf and flowers pouring golden nectar applications. Forbidden Flower possesses an incredible and dangerously sensual beauty.
