Description: Ma Griffe, Carven's first perfume created in 1946, has become one of the classics in Parisian perfumery, always enjoyed for its everlastingly youthful power of seduction. This chypre perfume was described by Charles Baudelaire as "fresh as a baby's flesh, soft as a hobo, green as the meadow...". Mademoiselle Carven had defined her creation as "an outdoor perfume that needs to give up its heady character".
